Majored in Social Sciences, I started a not for profit organization that deals with the housing crisis & poverty in Lebanon alongside her bookkeeping career.
Originally started as a junior bookkeeper in 2008 and evolved enough to practice bookkeeping as a freelancer in 2014 and to draft the idea and concept of “CO-OPAIN” - a Not for profit organization - in 2016.
I proudly helped 5 small businesses in Lebanon thrive simply by keeping their books. They expanded worry-free and based their decisions on well-communicated and clean data.
My position as an Accounting Data Analyst at Mimosa and as a Freelance Full-Charge Bookkeeper for startups gave her great exposure to startup culture and a lot of transferable skills that I can use in her entrepreneurial journey.
Diala has a great business background as she designed and managed a small project for Co-opain funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and World Bank. She was also teaching "accounting for entrepreneurs", a course that she designed and delivered specifically for for Lebanese entrepreneurs and managers who had no background in finance.
I recently graduated from the Peachscore accelerator.
